Tomorrow is Friday!!!!

Fridays are one of our favorites. Tomorrow is a busy day. We are to get the house ready for guests, make chocolate covered popcorn, take a group of people out shooting for experience, and have a GNO (Girl's Night Out) Jake will be taking the girls while I go out for dinner with a bunch of great women and then head over for a movie with 5 different types of popcorn... lime, cheddar, Johnny Seasoning, olive oil salt and pepper, and then of course the chocolate covered. Talk about yum!

Today we went grape picking.

Wednesday we visited the cousins!!! We love to see family.

Unfortunately I didn't get any good pics of Mark-Mark and totally spaced on taking any of little Annie. :( But Elizabeth sure looks cute.
Emily and I were able to get away in a ride in her father-in-law's Mazda Miata, and we just had to get some Jamba Juice. Love it.

Last week, we had some friends sleep over. Our good friends Sophia, Marlia, and Marcus.

Also last week, I helped with cake decorating and boutonniere making for the Young Women's Activity. Great group of girls... so much positive energy.

This is Olivia, she helps with the girls very often. Keeps them entertained for hours. She was able to have a sleep over with us, and the girls are getting really attached to her.

Also Jena Belle has become quite the photographer. She loves to take my phone and take random pictures. She took the pic of Olivia, and now I'll let you enjoy some other "Jena Belle Randoms".

Fun!

Crazy New Schedule

Jake is is crazy busy. He has been working his hinny off. I'm so proud of him for sticking it out. He will not quit. As for the girls and myself, we try to keep busy. Thankfully, I've been asked to help with a Young Women's activity in the ward and so I stay busy prepping for it.
The girls are so interested in learning their "letters". I love how they have a natural desire to learn... it makes my job so much easier, seeing that I've decided to try my hand at homeschooling.
Sorry, no pictures this time. I'll get some of the girls tomorrow, learning their "letters".

Breaking the Silence

Long time without updating.
Olympia has been good to us this past year. We moved in the last two days of September 2010. Our ward is wonderful! Great people, great friends.
Jake has been able to work 4-10s... but now tomorrow is his last day, he will get 6 days off before he will have full time training. I'm dreading it... can't wait for it to be over, but it will still never be the same. The girls and I have looked forward to our meals we take him nearly everyday he worked the past year, we won't get that anymore, and his shifts are probably going to be crazy. Sorry, am I complaining?
I'm so proud of his success and all that he has accomplished so far. I know the Lord is behind him in every step. Jake knows how to work... at work. :) And takes such pride in what he does... everything has to be just right. He can be very particular, but I'm sure that is what is work is expecting.
I know it's all getting close, Jake spoils us on a regular basis, but it has increased greatly within the last couple weeks. I can tell he's starting to miss us without being gone yet. I'm trying to absorb it, and I'm trying to think of a way to have him leave every week without the girls seeing him. They cry when he leaves to go to the gym everyday for just an hour or so... but he usually takes them everywhere else and so they don't understand why they can't go to the gym too.
Spoil, spoil, spoil. He needs a boy, all these girls make him a softy. :)

This was right when we moved to Olympia.

The girls love to swing.

Cute pic of Jake and Kayla, just had to share.

Remembering August 23, 2003. I can't believe it has been 8 years now.
