Jena Belle's Christmas Dance

Jena Belle loves to dance. This is her first year in ballet/tap, and I just had to put this on for all the family out there. Enjoy, and Merry Christmas.

Also, I have some pictures of the girls helping with the tree decorations... it was so cute watching ShayLynne try to put the bells on the tree and then they would just drop to the floor, but she kept on trying and then Jena Belle helped her. All the bells would have been clustered in one spot if I didn't remind Jena to move them around and put them up high.
ShayLynne now just takes the bells off to play with them.

It finally snowed yesterday... and everyone Jena Belle talks to the subject immediately turns to be about snowmen and how "her Jacob" (daddy) is going to help her with a snowman. It hasn't happened yet, but I'll be sure to post some pictures when it does.

Better Late then Never

This should have been posted back in April, but... life just goes.
Just a small clip of Shaylynne's first birthday, just watching it makes me realize how much has changed.

I know the cake doesn't look that great because the frosting melted off the top, but it's a coconut cream cake, delicious... hence the birthday girl devouring it.

Elder Bergener- Houston Texas Mission

Congrats to Blake

Heidi, my mom and I made Blake a flower Lei, a money Lei, and a candy Lei. Good thinking Heidi... it really made him stand out.

Hugs for the mama

Mister Cool.

Sweet kisses from the niece.

Elder Bergener is leaving the MTC this coming Wednesday for Texas. He has seen 11 of the 12 apostles so far and Pres. Monson was in a meeting there while he was in class... so didn't get to see him. Blake's already gained 10 lbs and has had a change of companions in the first 10 days of being there, due to family problems. He seems very focused on what he is doing and enjoys his teachers there.

Since I've been a slacker at blogging I decided it is about time that I put some of his graduation pics up.

ShayLynne May

I finally have gotten to some of ShayLynne's 1 year pictures. My Little Doll Face. All problems go away when that smile comes out. I can't resist when she reaches up for me. Shaylie is such a snuggly little girl. She is now 17lbs! Loves her big sister, JenaBelle, and she can say: mama, dada, bampa (grandpa), bamma (grandma), ena (Jena), Hi, Bye. She waves, claps, rolls her arms, leads music, dances, sings, blows kisses, gives kisses, gives hugs, tries to put on shoes and has been walking for a good couple months now... practically running. Full of energy and loves.

New Family Member

CONGRATULATIONS JUSTIN AND CELISE!!!!

I recently received photos of my new little niece. Finally, Jena Belle and ShayLynne have a cousin on my side of the family.

Aleya Bergener was born January 30th. She was 17 inches long and 5lbs 3oz. Such a cutie, and I can see some of my brother, Justin, in her.

Website that all should check out.

This is the most wonderful site. First- it's FREE. Second- it reminds you to read the scriptures, even sending you an email of the chapters to read for the day. Third- it lets you highlight and make notes. Fourth- if you don't want to read it... it will play the audio for you. Fifth- it's simple. Sixth- it's not just the scriptures... it's LDS church magazines, lessons, and more to come. They are always updating with new material. Seventh- can you imagine the blessings that you'll be receiving by following the Lord's commandments? The list does not end.

This site was given to me by my mom in the last RS meeting and since I'm in the primary I just her things from her. It sounded good and so I had to check it out. I just want to share the convenience and blessings of this site with whoever might visit.

Both my girls are sick today and Jena Belle was up half the night, so she didn't go to school.

Start of the infamous blogging...

My sister-in-laws Emily, Karrie and Meagan have finally convinced me to start blogging. So I'm trying it out. Not saying that I'll like it yet... I'll find out.
I never really wanted to start blogging because I feel like I'm writing a journal for all to see...
So I had to put an old pic of my daughter's (Jena Belle) face in disgust... because I just can't describe my feeling in any other way.

I also wanted to thank Emily for what you put on your blog for my b-day. It was so very sweet.

Ever since I have married into the Truman Family I have been surrounded by your support and love. Thank you. It has amazed me how tight your family is... it's so great, and I'm so blessed to be apart of it. Love you all.
